Donna Moylan was born in Boston, moved to Rome, Italy at the age of 19 and came back to the United States to live in New York City after two decades in Rome, 1992. She has had over 25 solo exhibitions in Rome, Italy and in New York City, Boston, Houston, Chatham, and Hudson, NY. Her work is included in many private collections and in The Whitney Museum of American Art, The New York Public Library, La Collezione Maramotti in Reggio Emilia and in the Museo Civico di Siracusa.
Donna Moylan’s paintings have been reviewed in The New York Times, The New Yorker, The Boston Globe, Art Forum, Art in America, and The Brooklyn Rail and other publications. Moylan live and works in Brooklyn and Kinderhook, NY and is represented by Pamela Salisbury Gallery.
